Johan Gielen is a trance artist, DJ, and remixer. He was born February 23, 1968 in the town of Mol, Belgium.

Johan started DJ'ing at the age of 17 in his home country of Belgium, and during the latest 15 years has built up an international fame spinning as a DJ in Japan, Australia, Germany, Spain, Holland, Belgium, England, Northern Ireland, Israel, North Cyprus and now also as resident DJ at Club Gorgeous in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Besides DJ'ing, Johan is a very successful trance producer working with his "partner in music" Sven Maes. Johan and Sven are behind European smash hits from Airscape, Balearic Bill, Des Mitchell, Abnea, Svenson & Gielen. Furthermore, they are well known for their remixing skills which can be heard on productions by Chicane, Delerium, Vengaboys, Tiësto, Scooter, Boy George a.o. They have proven that they are also capable of creating commercial dance hits, after finishing a single for Alice DeeJay.

After nearly two years of warming up the Saturday night party people by broadcasting his weekly radio show "Lift Off" on ID&T, he decided to leave the station in favor of Fresh FM where he hosts a weekly show called "In Session" every Saturday from 21:00 to 23:00 CET.

After meeting Oliver Adams (Lords Of Acid, Praga Khan, ...) and working with him in his studio Svenson made tracks for L.A. Style, Charlie Lownoise & Mental Theo,... Then he signed to Antler Subway and teamed up with Johan Gielen. Their first production together Bodyheat Gonna make You feel was a club-hit in Holland. His first solo track under the name Svenson was Let me take you on a trip. Later that year he produced some tracks for Milk Inc., which scored in France. Svenson then continued making music together with Johan Gielen under the name Airscape. Two consecutive releases namely Pacific Melody and lEsperanza have since become regarded as classics. Around this time they did remixes for Boy George, Chicane, Praga Khan, Dario G, Vanessa Mae, Safri Duo and Tiësto,... The most successful Remix-hit to date is Delerium Feat. Sarah McLachlan Silence...Then they made a couple of other tracks for the hit project Alice DJ. After leaving Antler Subway Svenson decided to work freelance whereupon he contacted Dick De Groot over at ID&T. The first release for this label by Svenson & Gielen was titled The Beauty of Silence and later Twisted which became hugely successful and earned them both a Golden record. After years of working with Johan Gielen Svenson decided to go solo. His first solo release with ID&T was Svenson Sunlight Theory. It became the Theme From Trance Energy 2004 and it was a big top 20 hit in Holland... This is my first remix (a bit rough in sounds ^_^) made with logic pro 8.
It's a tekno remix with a pumpin' synth bass and a D&B break in the middle of the song.
The original track is "Making of cyborg" by Kenji Kawai.
According to the info found on the booklet of the original cd, the choral song was an ancient japanese wedding march, whose aim was to exorcize negative influences.
