This show is spectacular. The band is in top form and deliver one of the best from this tour. Jimmy's playing is incredibly fluent and great, especially on Misty Mountain Hop leading to Since I've Been Loving You. Over The Hills And Far Away has few very unusual and exciting guitar passages by Mr. Pagey. Dazed And Confused is beyond description, and the whole show is timeless. "Malacum Salaam! - It's a bit of Indian." says Robert at one point.

Some of my friends were part of the 56K in Tampa prior to Mobile....but I didn't get to go. But I will be always grateful that it was the Mobile concert that I did attend. It was a small venue for them which made it up close.....and I was at the stage edge down front too. I could see Jimmy's sweat run across the front of his Gibson. I wish Robert knew that he even made a comment to one of the guys I was there with during the show. If you listen to the "bootleg Goin Mobile".....you'll here Plant say..."he must be some kind of nut".....he was referring to one my crew that was having too good of time I guess. Like the other comment from the guy from Biloxi....I well remember that they purposely dimmed the lights for about the last hour(from 5 till 6) and it was almost totally darrk in the auditorium except the exit lights when it was showtime. When John Bonham started it off and then every stage light came on when Page came in....it almost cut me like a knife.....won't ever forget it. I lost my ticket stub somehow to this show...but I still have the full ticket to what would have been my second time and probably the the "largest" show......the cancelled show at the Superdome July 30, 1977. I basically have a room in my home dedicated to them....if there's a fan that loves them more than me.....I'd like to meet them......

From the total darkness of the colesium to the explosion of light and sound that began with "Rock and Roll" to the ending with Whole Lotta Love this was the best show I had and have ever seen. I thought Zep was great before and was certain afterwards. I was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Miss. and this was my best day in the Air Force. They still sound great. Can't get my XM off of channel 59. Rock on.
