Gayatri mantra, Devi the Goddess

Originally the personification of the mantra, the goddess Gāyatrī is considered the veda mata, the mother of all Vedas and the consort of the God Brahma and also the personification of the all-pervading Parabrahman, the ultimate unchanging reality that lies behind all phenomena. Gayatri Veda Mata is seen by many Hindus to be not just a Goddess, but a portrayal of Brahman himself, in the feminine form.[

Green Tara Mantra (108 Repetitions = 1 Mala)

Tibetan culture, and some others, green is
considered to include all the other colors.

The practice of Green Tara helps to overcome fear and anxiety, but devotees also believe that she can grant wishes, eliminate suffering of all kinds and bring happiness.

When called upon, she instantaneously saves us from eight specific calamities. (Another lineage describes 16.) The First Dalai Lama lists the 8, and interprets them as representative of corresponding defects, flaws, or obscurations: 1) lions and pride 2) wild elephants and delusions 3) forest fires and hatred 4) snakes and envy 5) robbers and fanatical views 6) prisons and avarice 7) floods and lust 8) demons and doubt

OM TARE TUTTARE TURE SOHA

OM represents Tara's sacred body, speech and mind.

TARE means liberating from all discontent.

TUTTARE means liberating from the eight fears, the external dangers, but mainly from the internal dangers, the delusions.

TURE means liberating from duality; it shows the true cessation of confusion.

SOHA means "may the meaning of the mantra take root in my mind."

GAYATRI MANTRA Sathya Sai Baba Sings Gayatri Mantra

OM BHUR BHUVAH SUVAHA
TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM
BHARGO DEVASYA DHEEMAHI
DHIYO YO NAH PRACHODAYAT

Meaning:
We contemplate the glory of Light illuminating the three worlds: gross, subtle, and causal.

I am that vivifying power, love, radiant illumination, and divine grace of universal intelligence.

We pray for the divine light to illumine our minds.

Meaning of the individual words:
Om: The primeval sound
Bhur: the physical world
Bhuvah: the mental world
Suvah: the celestial, spiritual world
Thath: That; God; transcendental Paramatma
Savithur: the Sun, Creator, Preserver
Varenyam: most adorable, enchanting
Bhargo: luster, effulgence
Devasya: resplendent,supreme Lord
Dheemahi: we meditate upon
Dhiyo: the intellect,understanding
Yo: May this light
Nah: our
Prachodayath: enlighten,guide,inspire

Sathya Sai Baba said that this prayer is directed to the Divine Mother:
"O Divine Mother, our hearts are filled with darkness. Please make this darkness distant from us and promote Illumination within us."

Gayatri Mantra contains the essence of all the Mantras of all Gods and Goddesses. Just as single thread runs through all the flowers in a garland, the same divine power exists in all the god forms. Understand this unity in diversity. One who has understood this unity will never be put to suffering. Develop faith in God. Do not get carried away by what others say. Follow the dictates of your conscience. If you have the strong desire to see God, contemplate on Him with unflinching faith. Then you can certainly see Him. Never doubt His existence. He exists for those who believe in His existence and does not exist for those who deny His existence. He acts according to your feelings. So, develop faith in Him. Chanting the Gayatri Mantra for three times in a day, i.e., morning, afternoon and evening, is not enough. You should chant this Mantra incessantly. Why should you stipulate a particular time period for chanting His name who is beyond time? Sarvada Sarvakaleshu Sarvathra Harichinthanam, chant His name at all places, at all times and under all circumstances. I would advise to recite the Gayatri when you take your bath. Do not sing cheap and defiling film songs; recite the Gayatri. When you bathe, the body is being cleansed; let your mind and intellect also be cleansed. Make it a point to repeat it when you bathe as well as before every meal, when you wake from sleep, and when you go to bed. And also repeat 'shanti' thrice at the end, for that repetition will give shanti or peace to three entities in you -- body, mind and soul.
Sathya Sai Baba
This Gayathri Mantra was taught by Vishwamitra; that we know. But do you know what Baba has to say about this? On that day, the Gayathri Mantra was gifted to mankind: Rama and Lakshmana were the instruments for our receiving that teaching.

As Rama was Divine, Vishwamitra certainly knew that Rama knew everything, and therefore already knew this mantra. So then, why did Vishwamitra teach it to Him?

The goal of teaching the Gayathri to Rama was to ensure that the whole world would come to know it. The situation was only an opportunity to benefit all of us by gifting the Gayathri Mantra to all of us through this teaching by Vishwamitra to Rama.

So what does Baba say about this? By gifting this Gayathri Mantra to the entire humanity, Vishwamitra has endeared himself. Humanity is highly indebted to that sage, to Vishwamitra. Swami says that therefore his very name is justified: Vishwa means the entire universe and mitra is friend. Through this act, he earned his name as Vishwamitra. He is friend to the universe; he is a friend of all. The Gayathri, therefore, was gifted to the entire humanity through his act of teaching it to Rama. What a beautiful explanation this is!

The Vajra Guru (Padmasambhava) Mantra (108 Reps)

Please watch in High Quality (low EQ is so blurry)

Buddhist mantra from Tibet (in Sanskrit)

" I invoke you , the Vajra Guru , Padmasambhava, by your blessing may you grant us ordinary and supreme siddhis."

"The mantra of Padmasambhava is the mantra of all the Buddhas, masters, and realized beings, and so uniquely powerful for peace, for healing, for transformation and for protection in this violent, chaotic age.

"Although we are not able to see Padmasambhava in person, his wisdom mind has manifested in the form of mantra; these twelve syllables are actually the emanation of his wisdom mind, and they are endowed with his entire blessing. The Vajra Guru Mantra is Padmasambhava in the form of sound."
http://www.rigpaus.org/WIR/AboutUs/Padmasambhava/VGMantra.html

"The name of Padmasambhava, literally means "born of the lotus flower." This means to be born fully illuminated.

"Boddhisattva Padmasambhava has been a Great Teacher for aeons and aeons of time. Under his direct and indirect tutelage are also Taoist immortals and yogis, the siddhas and mahasiddhas in India, and other great spiritual teachers from other traditions."
http://www.qigonghealer.com/guru.html

"OM is the Cosmic Mind, The Mind of the Cosmos, The Mind of the Universe ..
AH means to attract the Divine Powers
HUM is the manifestation in the physical world on Earth. The Gross, the Visible
SIDDHI means accomplishment, achievement, attainment.
HUM also represents the wisdom mind of the Buddhas,

"The Divine Sound Hum works like a catalyst in the mantra to brings into reality ...
to manifest into the outer world the blessings of the Buddhas

"Therefore , SIDDHI HUM draws all the 'siddhis' into your Life through the blessings
of all the Buddhas in the Cosmos just like how a magnet attracts metal

"All obstacles in our Lives ...
such as ill health are removed. All Worldly wealth and happiness begins to flow into your Life ... Success comes to you easily, naturally and effortlessly

"But, The Divine Powers of this Mantra are much more than that ... Supreme Siddhis can liberate you and free you eternally from the bondages of your negative Karmas that you have accumulated in your past lives by purifying them and releasing all the loading of negative energies on your spirit that has tied you down to the cycle of re-incarnation through awakening the spiritual Powers inside you

"The Divine Powers of this Mantra are to purify all your negative karma that you have done in the past and in countless past lives ... and be liberated from them so that you can eventually evolve and get freed from rebirth and sufferings
"By doing this Mantra daily your Life's circumstances become auspicious
and you are inspired towards a spiritual Life and begin to yearn for enlightenment.

"If this mantra is recited a hundred times a day, merely a hundred times a day without interruption, one will become attractive to others and will effortlessly come by food and wealth and the necessities of life.

"If one recites it a thousand or ten thousand times on a daily basis, one is able to literally overwhelm others with one's brilliance, in the sense of becoming very charismatic and influential in exerting a positive influence over others, and one will gain unhindered force of blessings and spiritual power.

"...the Vajra Guru mantra is not just [a] single essence mantra, it is the very essence or life force of all the deities of the four classes of tantra, of all the nine yanas, and all of the 84,000 collections of dharma teachings. The essence of all of the buddhas of the three times, all of the gurus, yidams, dakas, and dakinis, dharma protectors, etc., the essence of all of these is contained and is complete within this mantra."

Om Namo Narayana Mantra (54 Repetitions)

Salutations to Lord Vishnu (Narayana)

Vishnu, (from the Sanskrit root 'vish', to pervade) is the second god of the Hindu triad (see Trimurti) and as the preserver of the universe represents mercy and goodness. He is said to be the cosmic ocean nara, meaning water, which was the only thing in existence before the creation of the universe. For this reason, he is also known as Narayana, or 'one who moves on the waters'.

"Vishnu's consort is Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and fortune."
http://www.gurjari.net/ico/Mystica/html/vishnu.htm

"What we require, therefore, is an omnibus formulation, a panacea for all ills and a KamadhEnu (the divine cow) that would provide us with all we need both here and in other worlds. This would be a one-stop-shop for all our requirements, a single mantra of sufficient potency, which would ensure satisfaction of all our desires.

"Looking at our avarice and helplessness, Azhwars, the true spiritual scientists they are, have indeed discovered such an omnibus formulation. Unlike modern scientists who insist on keeping their discoveries\inventions to themselves, patent them and appropriate to themselves all the attendant benefits, Azhwars, in their anxiety to ensure the upliftment of the suffering masses, proclaim their discovery from the rooftops, for all to hear and benefit.

"The potency of this formulation is such that it bestows on us the benefits of good birth and unlimited wealth, guarantees freedom from troubles and travails that plague the average man on the street, and, after ensuring a full and satisfied life, also transports us to the Eternal Land from where no one returns to this world of misery and misfortune. It is a mantra guaranteed to confer 100% satisfaction, says Sri Thirumangai Mannan-

"It is the mother who, even without being requested, anticipates every need of her child and fulfils them fully and in time. This mantra, however, is greater in glory than even the mother, for, while the mother can cater only to one's material needs, this mantra takes care of our spiritual health too.

"Like a potent medicine that not only eradicates the crippling illness but also ensures a disease-free life, this mantra too rids us of troubles when they plague us and reserves for us an existence of unalloyed bliss. Even if one doesn't require anything from life and is perfectly satisfied with what it has to offer, this mantra can be recited for the pure pleasure it offers and for its own sake, says Sri Kalian-

"Sri Satakopa Muni, for instance-he swears on all that he holds holy that the Narayana mantra is the one for us, if we wish to meditate on the Lord's lotus feet-

"This glorious formulation is indeed a mirror, which reflects the ParamAtma, in all His glory, with astounding clarity."
