About Jeezy – Seen It All

Jay Wayne Jenkins or Young Jeezy is a hip hop rapper from the United States. He comes from Atlanta in Georgia. However he was born in Columbia in South Carolina. It all started with Jeezy with the release of “Thuggin’ Under the Influence (T.U.I.)” in 2001 – this was his first independent album. This was however launched under the name of Lil J. That was the start of something big. Since then, he has time and again shown his talents as a rapper, and emerged as a leading artist of our times. In fact, now, he is considered as the de facto leader of Southern hip hop genre.

Young Jeezy has produced six studio albums as of now. They are “Thuggin’ Under the Influence (T.U.I.)” of 2001, “Come Shop wit Me” of 2003, “Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101” of 2005, “The Inspiration” of 2006, “The Recession” of 2008, and “TM:103 Hustlerz Ambition” of 2011. Jeezy’s seventh album is on the verge of being released. “Seen It All: The Autobiography” is expected to be launched on September 2nd 2014. He has also given us 15 mixtapes and as many as 40 music videos. Several of his albums have been certified as platinum or gold. Many of his singles have topped the music charts.

But Jeezy had a troubled childhood like some other artists. He was constantly transferred between family members as Jeezy’s parents were separated. Speaking to the XXL magazine, he once said that he had a very unhappy childhood, and even described it as “empty”. Jeezy became a victim of drugs and had to also spend nine months in a Youth Challenge Academy for possessing narcotics.

“Seen It All” is a song from Jeezy’s upcoming studio – Seen It All: The Autobiography. This song was released on July 1st for digital download through CTE World and Def Jam.

It is the second single to be released from this album, and in the album itself, this song is the seventh track. The song also features another well know rapper Jay Z. It’s obviously a very important track in this album, as is evident by the fact that the album has been named after this song. At least Jeezy believes that it’s going to have a huge impact on how the album eventually performs. And he does have a record to maintain as the last four albums have all been certified gold or platinum by the RIAA.

The hip hop song Seen It All has been written by Ronald La Tour, Shawn Carter and Jay Jenkins, and produced by Cardo. The music video of this track was uploaded on YouTube on June 30th 2014. Like the song, its video has been doing very well too. Running for three minutes and six seconds, it has been viewed by more than a million people by the end of August 2014. There are more than 5,000 Likes.

The song has been moving north in the charts since its release. It featured at #20 on the US Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles, and at #37 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs list.
