About Fall Out Boy – Immortals

Fall Out Boy is a rock band from the US state of Illinois. Established in 2001, the band is in alternative rock, pop rock, and pop punk. Their work has been released through Uprising Records, Fueled by Ramen, and Island Records, which is their most recent label. They probably had their best days during the middle of the 2000s, with the explosion of “emo pop”. However it’s still a very much active band, and in all likelihood would come up with many other great winning singles.

They came into existence from the hardcore punk scene of Chicago. Pete Wentz, one of the members, was heavily into this at the time the band was set up. In fact, it was one of Wendy’s side projects. Patrick Stump joined the group later, followed by the others.

Fall Out Boy is made of the following members – Andy Hurley, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman, and Patrick Stump. Patrick is the vocalist and guitarist, Pete is the bassist, Joe Trohman plays the guitar, and Andy is the group’s drummer. They tried different drummers before finally going with Andy Hurley. It was only after this that Fall Out Boy recorded their debut studio album, which incidentally went on to become a big one, bringing the rock band under the spotlight for the first time. Like other music groups, a few people have come and gone from the Fall Out Boy as well. The former members are Mike Pareskuwicz, Ben Rose, Brandon Hamm, and T.J. Kunasch.

Fall Out Boy has released six studio albums – “Take This to Your Grave” of 2003, “From Under the Cork Tree” of 2005, “Infinity on High” of 2007, “Folie à Deux” of 2008, “Save Rock and Roll” of 2013, and their latest “American Beauty/American Psycho” that came out on January 20th 2015. The first five have all been certified Gold and Platinum. They have also released a couple of live albums, one compilation album, five extended plays, and 33 music videos.

“Immortals” is an electronic rock and pop rock song by the Fall Out Boy. This song is a part of the 2014 movie “Big Hero 6” from Walt Disney Animation Studios. It was released on October 14th 2014 for 7″ vinyl and digital download through Walt Disney Records. There are actually two versions of this track. Fall Out Boy’s alternative version is in their sixth studio album “American Beauty/American Psycho”. It’s the tenth track in the album. The single version runs for three minutes and fifteen seconds, and the album version runs for three minutes and nine seconds. Fall Out Boy released the song’s poster on December 16th.

Lyrics of the single have been written by Andy Hurley, Joe Trohman, Pete Wentz, and Patrick Stump. It has been produced by Butch Walker.

This one is an inspiring track as in the story, a kid steps up for his brother. Patrick Stump, the vocalist, says that your victories are never just yours. It was Disney that asked the group to write and perform such a song for their upcoming movie.
